Marketing Data Analyst
Marketing Data Analyst required for a leading online publisher to support a number of marketing initiatives designed to attract new and existing customers to new publications and industry events and exhibitions.
As Marketing Data Analyst, you will work closely with the marketing teams to provide 3rd party lead generation agencies with a target list of prospective leads, ensuring they delivery against agreed SLA’s, validate any queries from both parties and ensuring the 3rd party lead generation agencies update the CRM accordingly e.g. invalid email addresses, duplications and other customer records, assigning leads to the relevant sales team where applicable.
Utilising data from the CRM system, the Marketing Data Analyst will also work with predictive analytics consultancies to help improve the effectiveness of campaigns by identifying prospects most likely to buy and therefore, maximise marketing spend and conversion for any given campaign.
Whilst the management of vendor relationships and services is key for the role, the Marketing Data Analyst will still be very hands on with Excel for the segmentation, manipulation and presentation of data in easy to view reports and dashboards. This would include customer segmentation of users based on demographics, interests, previous purchases, etc, profitability reports on shows and events, spend on marketing campaigns, etc.
Marketing Data Analyst from any industry background will be considered as the key driver is strong vendor management experience. Secondary is the ability to speak with different stakeholders to understand their reporting requirements and using Excel to export data from CRM’s, manipulating and presenting in user friendly formats.
Whilst not essential, it would be beneficial ifMarketing Data Analysts have experience using SQL in order to interrogate database and use in conjunction with Excel to extract and manipulate data.
This role is offered on a 6 month rolling contract and offer the opportunity to contribute to maturing Data Analysis and reporting in a very marketing focussed business.
