We are searching for talented Senior Java Developers to join us on our continual revolutionising and disruption of our market. We require this Senior Java Developer to work on the development of our single most complex function where you will be joining other like-minded Java developers along with QA Engineers, Front-end and UX developers, and a Product Manager.
You will be joining a fast-paced environment, where you will be assigned tickets collaboratively but will own your work right up to deployment. We strive to ensure you as a Senior Java Developer are equipped with the latest knowledge on technology and development practices, this means you will be up-skilled in DevOps best practices allowing you to work more efficiently.
To be sure you can perform in this Senior Java Developer role, there’s a few things we need from you:
- Experience working in at least Java 7
- Knowledge of microservice architecture
- Experience building RESTful API’s
- Experience using Spring/Spring Boot
- Experience writing your own Unit tests
However, your career as a Senior Java Developer will be vastly enhanced with:
- Involvement with our migration to Google Cloud Platform
- Hands-on learning with tech such as Vert.x, RxJava, Java 11, Kubernetes, Docker and much more!
- Your up-skilling in DevOps best practices
- Genuine progression built in to your role, with opportunities to progress toward a Team Lead role
- Involvement into the architectural decisions on both our internal systems and our customer facing services.
