One of the largest UK-based SaaS providers is looking to expand their Product Team, with the key hire of a Technical Product Owner to take over management of the roadmap of one of their most exciting inventory-management platforms, used across the retail and hospitality space.

The company have grown organically since inception, and recently acquired their largest competitor in the US, providing a requirement to expand their platforms globally, with enhanced functionality and personalisation to match the client base. Based in Central London, the company operate a mature Agile environment with a well-respected Product function.

As a Technical Product Owner, you’ll manage two remote SCRUM Teams (both based in Europe, so occasional travel is necessary!) to develop new and exciting features in a hybrid SCRUM/Kanban methodology. Experience working closely with developers and QAs is a must, as well as complex products with multiple technical and business dependencies.

What will the right Technical Product Owner have experience of?

  • You’ll have experience managing the end-to-end delivery lifecycle of complex technical products (no requirement for SaaS experience though!)
  • Confidence in dealing with both technical and non-technical stakeholders, and breaking down complex requirements
  • Good Agile experience and an understanding of the tangible benefits
